Loop stitch bridge was a proposal for a pedestrian bridge addition to a historical road bridge in Pittsburgh PA. This concept was developed for submittal to an international competition. The original site bridge was the 'end' bridge of a series that connected an extended park way system flanking the sides of the river core. The pedestrian bridge addition proposed 'stitched' the parkway areas together generating a 'loop' to direct people back toward the city.
