This artist loft was shaped and fabricated for optimization of programming, used for both living and working. Presented for an international art + architecture competition, this interactive installation required places for sleeping, storage, lighting, and sitting all within a singular loft unit. The staggered stairs were on wheels to provide vertical access to the walls throughout the loft. Enframement of the loft bed and window intentionally focused attention to the mural outside.
